Passive Aggressive + Kanye Music = Liberation for Maria

Marina Shifrin worked long hours for the Taiwanese animator, Next Media Animation, and when she decided to quit her job, she thought a viral video would be the most appropriate way to do it.

During a particularly late night when she was still at the office at 4:30 a.m., Shifrin set up cameras and started an epic one-woman dance party to Kanye West’s “Gone.”

“My boss only cares about quantity and how many views each video gets,” she says in scrolling text over the clip, representing the media industry’s larger challenge to find the right balance between producing great stories and scoring lots of page views.

Since the clip was uploaded to YouTube over the weekend, it has garnered more than a quarter million views and has been picked up by Gawker, The Huffington Post, and The Telegraph, inspiring downtrodden cubicle jockeys everywhere.

Kim K To Start Kiddie Clothing Line..

Is there anything this girl won't do to earn a buck? Jeebus..

From the scant news that's trickled out since Kim Kardashian brought forth daughter North West on June 15, she's seemingly been focused on breast-feeding, changing poopy diapers, promoting mom Kris' talk show and working off the pregnancy pounds. But the New York Daily News says she's also spent time plotting to take over the kiddie clothing market, with a little help from the fruit of Kanye West's loins.

Kim's fashion designer friend Lloyd Klein says Kim wants to launch a children's collection, adding that he believes the yet-to-debut North would make a "great poster child" for the tot togs.

"I am sure [Kim] is going to come up with a line for babies," he tells the paper. "It is very cute to design for babies. [It would be] soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy."

At least it would be if it actually was happening. A rep for Kardashian assures E! News that a baby line will definitely not be part of the reality star's various sartorial ventures, which ranges from her Kardashian Kollection for Sears to K-DASH for QVC.

Then again, if she changes her mind about creating ankle-biter attire, she could pick Yeezy's brain for ideas. In a report best taken with a Khloe-sized grain of salt, the London Sun claims that Kanye, who recently debuted a $120 plain white T-shirt, sent a gift package to Prince William and Duchess Kate's baby son, Prince George, featuring "mini-versions" of his clothing line, including such infant wardrobe staples as skinny jeans and hoodies.

Kim Kardashian Gave Friends A Fake Baby Pic To See Who Would Sell It To The Tabloids

Every day, Kim Kardashian has to live with the knowledge that anyone in her inner circle, at any time, might sell her out without so much as the bat of an eyelash. The 32-year-old reality star is so acutely aware of this fact that in order to prevent such a person from selling a photo of her baby, she hatched a plan to catch the would-be perp before they had the chance to do her dirty.

According to TMZ, Kim sent a photo of a decoy baby to about six of her closest friends in order to see who would sell it to the tabloids. The gossip site reports:

"Sure enough..someone came along and tried selling us this pic.."

And if that wasn't bad enough, another friend tried to sell another fake baby picture that she sent around to a different group of people. So basically, Kim can't trust anyone, which is sad not funny.

Kim and Kanye brought their baby girl, North West, home from the hospital last week and are reportedly staying with Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, as they wait for their palatial new home in Bel Air to be finished.


I must admit, that second pic looks like it could be hers.

Kanye West's Family Were Not Thrilled With The Pregnancy News

The whole world has heard by now, that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child. Kim's family were all ecstatic about the news and couldn't stop gushing about their new family member on the way, but the reaction with Kanye's family was a different one. Kanye's cousin Tony Williams spoke to Hollyscoop for an official interview. “Kanye flew in the day after Christmas without Kim to tell us the news. When he told us, the family was silent. We were all kind of shocked,” Tony told Hollyscoop. With Kanye trying to break the awkward silence he asked his cousin what he thought, “Kanye asked me what I thought, and I told him, ‘You are 35 years old. You have to have a kid eventually.” 

The family is happy though, they just weren't expecting the news, especially since Kim is still technically married to Kris Humphries. “Of course, we are all really excited for him and Kim," Tony Stated. “He did not say anything about them getting married, but no one asked," Tony added when asked about marriage plans in the couple's future.

This should be good. Haha..

 Rapper Kanye West has survived a number of public relations debacles that might have prematurely ended another artist’s career.

West continued to be a huge concert draw and sell albums after incidents like his interruption of Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs and his “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” remark during a Hurricane Katrina telethon.And yet recently, sources say that West’s popularity is becoming tainted because of his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.

Some are saying a combination of too many appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, as well as ubiquitous tabloid photos, have had a net negative impact on his image. “His personal life is overpowering his music,” an industry source says. “Every time he plays, people are wondering if Kim is going to be there. It’s not a good thing for him, especially if he wants to be taken seriously.”

West’s finances are also allegedly being affected by Kardashian. West was offered several opportunities to host New Year’s Eve parties in Vegas and Miami, but only contingent upon him bringing his reality TV star girlfriend along. West declined these offers. Kanye was actually offended by the offers,” says the source.

West refused to be a part of Keep Up With the Kardashians initially, but when Kim Kardashian got upset he caved in. West’s upcoming show in Atlantic City at Revel shows that tickets are “not close to being sold out,” says one ticket broker.

Just last week during the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert, 12.12.12, things turned for the worse when audience members went to the bathroom during West’s performance, in which the rapper wore a kilted skirt.

“Literally half the audience got up to go to the bathroom and it was the talk of the men’s room,” one attendee told Confidenti@l’s Marianne Garvey.

West is reportedly not satisfied with the direction his career is going and has contacted top-level executives to get his career back on track.

I wonder if Kim Kardashian has become immune to her sextape? Can she ever get to a point where she can watch it and doesn't phase her? It's been a while now and it's release has definitely helped her career, (or helped her HAVE a career) but still. I would feel mighty awkward meeting dignitaries, authors, respected artists, politicians, or really anybody with the outright knowledge that uh..
